Tochigi City in Tochigi Prefecture is a historic town in Japan, known for its well-preserved traditional storehouses and beautiful riverside scenery. Once a bustling trade hub during the Edo period (1603–1868), Tochigi is often called the "Warehouse Town" because of the many old warehouses that still stand along the Uzuma River.
