Rakugan Moroeya Co., Ltd. is a long-established Japanese confectionery manufacturer founded in 1849 in the Nomachi area of Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture. For over 170 years, the company has been preserving and sharing Kanazawa's confectionery culture. Their flagship product, "Rakugan," is a traditional dry confection made by mixing starch powder from rice with syrup and sugar, pressing it into molds, and drying it—a process that adheres to traditional methods. Additionally, they offer products such as "Hojo Sweets," "Kaga Hosho," and "Hana Usagi," which convey the traditions of Kaga confections. The main store is located in Masuizumi, Kanazawa City, and the company operates several other locations within the city, including the Nishi Chaya Karyo.
