"Mameya Kanazawa Bankyu" is a confectionery shop headquartered in Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture. Drawing on the culture of Ishikawa and Kanazawa, they utilize precious ingredients and traditional techniques to offer innovative products. Their main offerings include "Bean Confections and Bean Boxes" made with organic soybeans and black beans from Kaga and Noto, "Golden Castella" featuring Kanazawa's renowned gold leaf (which accounts for over 99% of domestic production), and "Warabi Mochi Baum," a fusion of baumkuchen and warabi mochi. Additionally, they offer unique items like "Katanuki Baum," created using a special water jet cutter, and "Hazico," which repurposes the "edge" parts produced during manufacturing.
