Kuzukiri

Arrowroot Starch Noodles

This refreshing summer dessert features clear, jelly-like noodles made from arrowroot starch. Each portion is packed in a bamboo-inspired tube.

The noodles have a smooth, slippery texture and a clean taste, making them perfect for cooling down on hot days. It's not just delicious—it's fun to prepare and beautiful to look at.

A cool moment, one bite at a time.

Product Maker

Sasaya Iori

Sasaya Iori is a Kyoto confectionery shop established in 1716. The origin of this shop dates back to when the founder, originally a confectioner in the castle town of Tamaru in Ise Province, was recognized for his skill and called to Kyoto to serve the Imperial Court. Since then, the shop has continued to craft Japanese sweets, specifically "jou-gashi" (high-grade confectionery), exclusively for the Imperial Palace, shrines, temples, and tea ceremony masters.

Today, their sweets are accessible to a broader audience and are available for purchase through department stores and online shops.
