The Story Behind Cherry Beans

Cherry Beans originated in 1914 in Kashima City, Saga Prefecture, when our predecessor, Sadayuki, created a unique snack by deep-frying broad beans. Over the years, this delightful treat became a beloved specialty of Shimabara and gained recognition as a renowned confection of Nagasaki Prefecture. Even today, Cherry Beans are cherished as a classic tea-time snack, enjoyed by many.
